Welcome to the Carlisle Diocesan Youth Centre. We offer a beautiful, remote and rugged but accessible location. Keswick is only four miles away with the M6 just a 20min drive. Nestled in the North Lakeland hills, with modern en-suite 4 – 6 bedded bunk rooms, the centre offers flexible accommodation for a variety of groups. Fell-walking, climbing, orienteering, geo-caching etc are literally on the doorstep, with freedom, space and amazing views from our buildings.

There are two buildings available with accommodation for up to 26 in the School House and 14 beds in the Chapel House (but seating for only 12 to eat), both buildings can be hired together for groups up to 40 in number.

The Youth Centre was originally set up to serve Churches and Youth Organisations in the Carlisle Diocese and beyond, but is now open to all.

For more information about the Centre and how to make a booking, follow the links to the other pages.

Carlisle Diocese has one other Youth Centre which you may like to know about and we have included a list of similar centres nationwide that form part of the Christian Residential Network.

Information and Bookings are available through the Warden at
